Tamagotchi is coming back - Just in time for Christmas!

The Tamagotchi was everyone's favorite toy for about a week in the 90s. The tiny little needy gadget required a few clicks to be fed or played with every 15 minutes, or it would die and not be able to come back, meaning you had to buy a new one.

Bandai America has announced they will be reintroducing the little A.I pets to American toy stores, with a limited 20th anniversary sale. Starting November 5th you'll be able to purchase the Tamagotchi in stores and online (check back here), for $14.99

Super Nintendo Classic Edition - The Key to Star Fox II

The Super Nintendo Classic Edition is released today and the launch seems to be going well for Nintendo. Shoppers were lined up outside toys and games stores early this morning, and you might need to wait for round 2 or 3 to get one in the stores. Online the consoles sell for over $200 bucks, both NES Classic and SNES classic.

The SNES comes with 20 classic games built in, and a never before released Star Fox II.

Classic Edition Nintendo

If you thought the original Nintendo went away forever you were wrong.
The mini NES has the look and feel of the original NES, but in a smaller size, and with 30 built-in games. Unfortunately your old NES cardridges will not work, if you still have any.

Gadgets that were Built to Last

Some gadgets were built to last many years down the road, while others might be purposely made in such a way that you have to get a new one every couple of years. Or may age just because technology has advanced, as is the case with Video Game consoles.

Home Phones

Old house phone
My grandma still has this :)
While some get a new phone every year, others are happy with a 90s phone, old corded phone, the first Motorola Droid or iPhone still (true story | I'd use my Droid if it still worked;)

Universal Remotes

A remote control can last a very long time since you're not actually clicking it very often, and not carrying it around in your pockets.
I've used this SMK Link remote for almost 6 years and can't remember changing the battery, but I probably did change it once.

Famicom - The original Nintendo in Japan

Nintendo had several prototypes for the home entertainment system.

Do you remember the Yo-Yo and Diabolo?

Sometimes the oldest are the best and this certainly applies to games. There was a time when kids would spend hours trying to figure out the Rubix Cube or practice with their Yo-Yo and would be kept out of trouble for hours. Unfortunately many of these games have been superseded by computer games, television programs and the Internet, meaning many have fallen by the roadside. In a walk down memory lane we have listed the top five games from years gone by.

Evil pranks Vs smokers

The shocking lighter and explosive cigarette loads. I remember some of these pranks from when I was a kid. I also remember them being a bit more intense. Especially the cigarette bangers. I guess in order to prevent lawsuits etc. some of these companies have toned down the effect.
Price: $1.99Price: $2.95

One prank I never got to try myself is the stinky cigarette prank. I have seen a lot of stinkbombs before but never one of these.
Price: $1.80
These too have been toned down a bit. Some reviewers claim their test subjects didn't even notice the effect. Others just tasted the bad smell. Now that I think of it I'm not sure I would want anyone to inhale these strange chemicals. Hopefully the information is on the back of the package, and understandable. If I wouldn't inhale it myself I wouldn't want anyone else to.
